I am a fully accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the Irish and British Associations for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP & BACP). I have a broad range of experience in both short and long term work and across many diverse life issues.
Counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful for a wide range of issues (for e.g. anxiety, trauma, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, anger, bereavement, communication & relationship, employment & redundancy issues) and the process involved is short or long term depending on what you feel you need.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, my role is to offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space to each of my clients, encouraging and helping them to explore and resolve their issues in their own way and at their own pace. My integrative approach affords me the flexibility and opportunity to work appropriately and differently according to each client’s requirements.
I have been located in Naas, Co. Kildare working as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 2015 having trained and worked in England for the previous 10 years. My experience has been gained from my work with CRUSE Bereavement, Community Counselling Service Bristol and the NHS (GP surgery) in England together with my private practice both in England and Ireland. Prior to training as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I worked in business for 14 years after completing a BSc (hons) at UCD.
