BSc., MIACP
I have been practicing for over 10 years now and I work with adults from 18 years of age.
Whatever brings you to therapy, my primary goal is understanding your story - your life with all its complexities and the difficulties and challenges you face now. To create a safe and secure space for you to talk about your lived experience, to untangle, unfold, reflect and feel: Therapy is so unique; you are walking into a space that is non- judgemental - a kind, empathetic place where together we can begin to shed light, insight, understanding and healing.
This being human is complicated! Thoughts, feelings and behaviour can so often be so hard to understand and deal with. But with insights from evolutionary psychology, polyvagal theory and other sources you can begin to gain clarity and understanding of your lived human experience.
In addition, there is an abundance of insights, tools and coping methods to be gained with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Meditation and the science of Breath Work. My hope would be that the therapeutic space offers you ultimately the opportunity to move forward and to engage with life more fully and live with more ease.
